Have you been to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk yet? We went two weeks ago with my mom and my grandpa and had so much fun. It was the perfect day because the weather wasn’t too hot. Plus we used our passes so we got in for FREE! That’s always nice. Although, the zoo’s admission prices are very reasonable.
Here is a journey through the Virginia Zoo:
We took a quick picture break when we first got inside the zoo. Check out these two cuties!
This is Maggie and I looking at the Tiger. My mom didn’t snap the picture in time, but our tiger friend got right up on the rock and looked Maggie right in the face. They were face to face….and mommy about wet herself. Thank goodness for the glass!!
We then stopped for a quick water break. I LOVE this part of the zoo. They have water fountains at the very front where kids can run through with their bathing suits…or their clothes. Adults can too, y’all! It’s so refreshing on hot days. They also had this water spot halfway through the zoo. Pretty much my favorite feature of the zoo, no joke!
After the water we headed to the Africa portion of the zoo. We stopped to see the huge rhinos, the pretty zebra, and the giraffe’s.
We had so much fun at the Virginia Zoo. I definitely suggest checking it out. Click here for more information.
