Maggie is turning three years old already! How does the time go by so quickly? Now that she is getting a bit older, she voices her opinions about things she wants. So, you won’t be surprised to hear that she wanted a “Frozen” party theme at her third birthday. Isn’t that what every little girl is asking for this year?
Of course, this meant I had to go “Pinterest crazy” with fun Frozen Ideas….
We had her birthday at the Virginia Beach Bounce House and I cannot say enough wonderful things about their facility. We had our own private party room for two hours where I was able to set up food, snacks, etc. They provided pizza, paper products, and juice boxes. I brought the other food and snacks that I wanted to have at the party.
With booking a party at the Virginia Beach Bounce House, we were also able to have access to their private party bounce room for one hour- so we had five bounce houses all to ourselves in the private party room. It was awesome! The adults could talk without having to chase their kids around and the kids bounced together without anyone else. I absolutely love this feature that the Virginia Beach Bounce House offers in their party packages. It is totally worth it!
After our hour was up, we went back into the party room and ate pizza and cupcakes. I also prepared some fun snacks that were Frozen themed…
Frozen Trail Mix
This was an easy one. I just bought a bag of trail mix and added blue M&M’s. I found plain blue M&M’s at Party City.
Sven’s Reindeer Snacks
I love this three tier plate rack. I use it all the time. I brought it out and put carrots and grapes on it with a little note that says, “Sven’s Reindeer Snacks” and it added a cute Frozen touch!
I got this adorable idea from Like Mom and Applepie. I simply downloaded the FREE printable, printed it, cut it out and taped them onto the water bottle. So simple and so cute! Hop over and download yours here.
My wonderful friend helped me bake these cupcakes and they were a hit! She made the icing herself and it came out the perfect light blue. She just added a few drops of blue food coloring. Then we added pearl candy to all of them and she made snowflakes out of white chocolate and added those to some of the cupcakes for an extra “Frozen” touch. They were adorable and delicious!
Frozen Rice Crispy Treats
I love rice crispy treats. They are SO easy to make and you can add food coloring and cookie cutters to form them into whatever party theme you are having. (See Valentines Day themed rice crispy treats here). I made light blue and dark blue rice crispy treats to add to our blue Frozen theme.
I also made cute “Frozen” themed party favors for the kids to take home with them….
Some People are Worth Melting For
I absolutely love, love, love this party favor by Poofy Cheeks. She used it as Valentine cards, but I used them as party favors. SO CUTE! Get the FREE printable here.
Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?
I love this cute “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman” favors from The Purple Pumpkin Blog. I added three big marshmallows (for the body), two little marshmallows (for the feet), two pretzel sticks (for the arms), three chocolate chips, and one tick tack (for Olaf’s nose). You can also use candy corn, but it’s not season, so I had to stick with tick tacks. Get the FREE “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman” printable here.
Of course, my little sugar baby LOVED eating her birthday cupcakes and having everyone sing to her…
I can’t say enough good things about the Virginia Beach Bounce House! They are very accommodating and the private bounce room is AMAZING! And once your hour in the private bounce room is over, the kids can jump for as long as they want in the regular bounce room. It’s wonderful!
Plus, their party packages are super reasonable. Click here to book a party now!
